Shift Kit Superior 4L60E 4L65E 4L70E

Superior 4L60E-L Shift Correction Kit (1998-Up) | Code 1870 & TCC Fix

Take control of your transmission’s health with the Superior K4L60E-L, the industry’s most respected mechanical "Problem Solver." This isn't just a shift kit; it’s a comprehensive recalibration package designed specifically for 1998-and-newer 4L60E, 4L65E, and 4L70E transmissions.

Whether you're fighting the notorious P1870 slip code or looking to firm up "lazy" factory shifts in your Silverado, Tahoe, or Corvette, the Superior kit addresses the root causes of transmission failure. It replaces high-wear factory valves with upgraded components that stay smooth even under high-heat and heavy-towing conditions.

What This Kit Fixes:

• The P1870 Fix: Includes the PWM Powervalve to eliminate the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) slip code while maintaining factory driveability.
• Eliminates "Slide-Bump" Shifts: Corrects the annoying flare-up or "slide" during the 2nd and 3rd gear transitions.
• Worn Plate Recovery: Includes oversized checkballs to restore seal integrity on older, worn separator plates.
• Protects the 3-4 Clutch: Increases lube oil flow to the 3-4 clutch pack—the #1 failure point in the 4L60E family.

Performance Benefits:

• Selectable Firmness: Includes instructions for both Regular Duty and Heavy Duty/Towing applications.
• Sprag Protection: Recalibrates internal timing to prevent premature failure of the forward sprag.
• Cooler Operating Temps: Improves internal lubrication and TCC engagement efficiency to shed heat faster.
